It’s an exciting time for the Immortal Pictures crew – ‘Chuck Steel: Raging Balls of Steel Justice’ is winning awards from film festivals across the globe, it’s getting great viewing figures from its airings on on Film4, huge props from internet reviewers and bloggers, and right now as I type this post, I sit deep within the brand new studios, somewhere in South Wales as the full length feature ‘Night of the Trampires’ is readying itself for production.
Chuck Towers(the studio is not called that, however for the sake of ease, it’s what i shall hereby refer to it as) is an old speaker factory which is currently being converted from the ground-up, to a fully functional, working studio space where Chuck’s full length outing ‘Chuck Steel: Night of the Trampires’ will be filmed.
November 2014, the crew get the keys to their new studio building for the first time, and begin to move in. From the basement of Director Mike Mort’s home, where Raging Balls of Steel Justice was shot and expertly put together by his small team of highly talented creatives, to this industrial behemoth of a building which at its peak will be crewed by close to 100 staff as shooting commences in June 2015.
In the space of two weeks, Chuck Towers has been transformed from a huge, empty industrial building, to a hub of activity as production staff, animators, set designers & builders prepare everything needed to begin shooting.
‘Chuck Steel: Night of the Trampires’ is most definitely underway – so stay tuned for all the updates, fish-lips!
